Who we are

Engineering for demanding subsea conditions

Raptor Anchoring Ltd is a specialist subsea engineering and manufacturing company focused on advanced subsea anchoring solutions and underwater installation systems for offshore energy, aquaculture, and marine infrastructure.

As part of The Leask Group, and aligned with Leask Marine’s offshore delivery capability, we combine innovative engineering design with practical deployment expertise.

Our systems are designed for performance, durability, and operational efficiency in demanding subsea conditions.

Our technology

A complete subsea anchoring toolkit

Patented anchor systems, purpose-built drilling, and remotely operated installation — engineered to work together.

Patented Subsea Anchor Systems

Patented Subsea Anchor Systems Our patented design enables remote installation and tensioning, offering a low-carbon mechanical solution to seabed anchoring that avoids grout and resin use and supports lifecycle recovery or reuse.

  • Concrete-free mechanical anchoring
  • Remote installation and tensioning
  • Reusability and decommissioning readiness

Submersible Drilling Rig (SDR)

An in-house designed and purpose-built, cost-effective drilling solution capable of handling large-bore subsea anchor holes from surface-controlled platforms or vessels.

  • Operates in depths up to 90 m
  • Anchor holes up to ~800 mm diameter
  • No commercial divers or ROVs required

Raptor AROV 2

The Raptor AROV 2 is a remotely operated subsea drilling and anchor installation system, specifically developed for challenging offshore renewable environments, particularly high-energy tidal and floating wind sites.

  • Single slack-water installation
  • ±3° of vertical placement
  • Operating depths up to 1,000 m

Raptor RIT

The Raptor RIT is a multifunctional subsea crawler platform designed to carry out intervention and seabed operations without relying on large conventional ROV spreads or diver-based operations.

  • Anchor handling & tensioning
  • Manipulator, sonar & cameras
  • Low logistical footprint

Raptor Scout

The Raptor Scout provides a powerful, reliable, and versatile solution for subsea anchoring, excavation and installation projects.

  • Fully functional to 500 m
  • Multi-mission tooling
  • Rapid deployment

Load Test Frame & Control System

Specifically developed to carry out full-scale anchor testing, including tensioning, maximum load, and fatigue testing, allowing us to simulate long-term offshore operational conditions.

  • 150 te uplift capacity
  • High-frequency data logging
  • Performance verification
Applications

Built for dynamic marine environments

Our equipment and designs are optimised to perform reliably in dynamic marine environments and on complex seabed conditions.

Marine Renewables & Offshore Energy

Anchoring floating structures, moorings and subsea infrastructure in challenging offshore conditions.

Subsea Construction & Infrastructure

Foundations, mooring points, and engineered seabed attachment solutions for civil and marine projects.

Harbour & Coastal Engineering

Seabed anchors and drilling systems for harbour works, marine facilities and coastal stabilisation.

Operating depths

Rated for every depth

From nearshore anchoring to deep-water installation, each Raptor system is engineered for its working depth — 90 m to 1,000 m.
